El Plato Seguro Privacy Policy

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

At El Plato Seguro, we understand that information about your diet and wellbeing is deeply personal. This policy explains clearly and transparently how we collect, use, and protect your information.

The service is operated by DCS LLC (the trade name under which the owner provides this service as an independent professional), with an operating address in Estonia. DCS LLC is responsible for processing the data you share with us through the app and the landing page.

2. Information We Collect

• Profile Data: your name, email, and country when you sign up, to identify your account, save your progress, and adapt the recipe book to your market. Your password is always stored encrypted (or, if you sign in with a magic link, we never see any password at all).
• Cooking Usage and Habits Data: dishes you mark as completed, recipes saved as favorites, and accumulated streak days.
• Photos Analyzed by the Scanner: images of your dishes are sent for analysis at the moment you take them. The photo itself is not stored permanently in our database — only the analysis result (dish name and verdict) is kept.
• Text and Voice Queries to Clara AI: your text conversation history with Clara is saved to give it continuity. If you speak to her by voice, your own phone converts that speech to text (we never send an audio recording to any server); only the resulting text is processed like any other message.
• Metabolic Preferences: the self-reported diagnosis (for example, prediabetes, insulin resistance, or Type 2 Diabetes) that we use exclusively to personalize your meal plans — never for medical, insurance, or advertising purposes.
• Payments and Subscriptions: all billing, recurring charges, and guarantees are handled exclusively by Hotmart B.V. We never store or have access to your credit card numbers or bank accounts.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To personalize your Steady Glucose recipe and weekly menu recommendations.
• To process culinary assistance and visual scanning responses through Clara AI.
• To manage your streak, VIP dessert unlocks, and progress certificates.
• To send you essential operational notifications about your account or recipe book updates.

4. Who We Share Your Information With (Subprocessors)

We do not sell your data. To provide the service, we do share the information strictly necessary with the following providers, each under its own privacy policy:

• Hotmart B.V.: processes your payments, subscriptions, and guarantees. We never see your banking data.
• Supabase: hosts our database and sign-in, with servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
• Vercel: hosts the web application (United States).
• OpenAI: analyzes the text of your queries to Clara and the Scanner's photos to generate its responses (United States).
• Fal.ai: generates the illustrative photos for the recipe book's recipes (United States).
• Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram): measures the performance of our ads through the Meta Pixel and its Conversions API. It receives technical and browsing data (see section 6), never your health data or your questionnaire answers (Ireland / United States).
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: usage statistics and heatmaps with on-screen text masked, to improve the experience (United States).

5. Privacy of Your Photos, Queries, and Health Data

Your food photos and your queries to Clara are used solely to provide you with immediate assistance — they are never public or accessible to other users.

• Zero-Sale Commitment: we will never sell or transfer your personal data or health habits to pharmaceutical companies, health insurers, or advertising data brokers.
• International transfer: to generate the real-time nutritional analysis, your photos and text queries are processed via OpenAI and Fal.ai, both located in the United States. The rest of your data (profile, progress, history) is stored in Supabase, in the European Union. This processing is carried out under each provider's own privacy terms, solely to respond to you, and is never shared for advertising purposes.

6. Cookies

We use three types of technologies: (a) strictly necessary technical cookies to keep you signed in, managed by our authentication provider (Supabase), which do not require prior consent; (b) usage measurement and analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity); and (c) advertising measurement, through the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API: on the sales page, the initial questionnaire, and the plans screen we use the Meta Pixel in your browser and, from our server, the Conversions API, to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads work. Meta receives events (page visit, content view, email sign-up, checkout start), the page address, Meta cookie identifiers (_fbp and _fbc), your IP address and browser and, when you enter your email and when you start checkout, your email address in hashed form (SHA-256) to match the event to your Meta account, if you have one. This may involve Meta cookies on your device. The final purchase is processed by Hotmart, which may also report it to Meta.

We never send Meta your questionnaire answers, your self-reported diagnosis, your photos, your conversations with Clara, or any health data. The Pixel is not loaded inside the internal app (Today, Plan, Recipe Book, Clara, etc.): only on the sales page, the questionnaire, and the plans screen.

You can refuse or limit these technologies by blocking third-party cookies in your browser, adjusting your Ad Preferences on Facebook and Instagram, or writing to us at elplatoseguro@gmail.com.

7. Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers with SSL/TLS encryption (Supabase infrastructure) and with industry-standard data protection protocols.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or request the complete and permanent deletion of all your data and your account at any time. Deleting your account also deletes your conversation records with Clara AI.

Today, account deletion is processed manually: write to us at elplatoseguro@gmail.com requesting the deletion, and we will confirm the complete removal of your data within a maximum of 30 days.

9. Minimum Age

El Plato Seguro is intended for people over 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
